Band
Formed in April 2007 , BREAKERZ is a J-rock trio that is made up of 3 guys : frontman vocalist DAIGO & guitarists AKIHIDE and SHINPEI .
BREAKERZ started off as DAIGO and SHINPEI's project . Meeting through a mutual friend and various recording sessions , they worked together to make a demo . DAIGO is in charge of music and lyrics while SHINPEI is in charge of arrangements .
In the span of 1 month , they created 40 songs . Later on , they are joined by DAIGO's longtime friend who has worked many times with him in his band , songwriting , playing guitar and singing chorus . That is AKIHIDE & the 3 of them joined together to form BREAKERZ .
The origins of BREAKERZ's name means "wanting to destroy" or "destroying once & for all" & connects breaking through genres & barriers . The original band's name was first spelled with an S but it was later changed to Z adopting the letter from B'z , which SHINPEI's a massive big fan of the duo .
Incidentally , the band's name was derived even before SHINPEI joined .
BREAKERZ's goal was to be like the musicians that they admire/respect such as hyde & Himuro Kyosuke .
All arrangements are credited under BREAKERZ as so but it is the composer of the song who leads the arrangement , while the rest of the members fine tune the song while utilising their own ideas .
Their music can't be described in just one word . It's a fusion mix of AKIHIDE's UK rock guitar sounds & SHINPEI's American rock guitar sounds which're both combined with DAIGO's somewhat sexy lush seductive voice .
Despite having 2 guitarists in the group , AKIHIDE & SHINPEI have distinct display of flair with their guitar/s while onstage . AKIHIDE has been described as a guitarist that plays delicate pitch sounds & puts up unique performances while SHINPEI has been described as a guitarist who performs aggressively and powerfully .
The band's historic debut is on 6 June 2007 with their first single WAKE UP MY SOUL / THE TRAIN's GONE ... became available on iTunes Japan .
BREAKERZ is signed by ZAIN Records , a member of the Being Giza Group .

The trio made their major debut with their self-titled debut album on July 25th 2007 . Their first live performance took place at SHIBUYA BOXX on August 5th 2007 . During live performances , the guys often wear prayer bead bracelets which were made by DAIGO's late maternal grandma .
BREAKERZ doesn't have a permanent bassist nor a drummer in their duty roaster , so they use various support members when comes to recording of their material & also in live performances too .
In Spring 2013 , BREAKERZ went on hiatus in which each member pursued solo activities and after their 1st countdown live BREAKERZ COUNTDOWN LIVE 2014-2015 concluded , BREAKERZ announced that they were making a full comeback and restarted their band related activities in mid 2015 with the release of a new single , a new album & a new live tour which they dubbed it as the trilogy comeback .
BREAKERZ celebrated their 10th anniversary in 2017 with the release of Ikusen no Meikyuu de Ikusen no Nazo wo Toite in January followed by BREAKERZ 10 Shunen 10ban Shoubu -VS- which consists of them doing 10 concerts with 10 different artistes .
In July 2017 , BREAKERZ released their 18th single Yume Monogatari on 12th July . Before a duo back to back concert BREAKERZ Debut 10th Anniversary 【BREAKERZ X】 MEMORY & PROMISE that took place on 15th and 16th July respectively , BREAKERZ Debut 10th Anniversary Live 【BREAKERZ X】 Warming Up Vol.2 took place on 6th July which's 1 day after AKIHIDE's birthday .
In Oct 2017 , BREAKERZ released a 10th anniversary special album X (pronounces as Cross) on 18th Oct . X has 2 CDs , the 1st CD is titled 10th anniversary special collaboration album that includes 10 songs which BREAKERZ sang a different track during each of the 10 BREAKERZ 10 Shunen 10ban Shoubu -VS- concerts while the 2nd CD titled Request best includes 15 songs that fans selected/voted online as part of Fans' Select Best (in which each fan was able to vote a maximum of 3 songs to be included in X) .
In Nov & Dec 2017 , BREAKERZ LIVE TOUR 2017 【X-cross-】 commenced .
BREAKERZ starts off 2018 with the release of their 19th single D×D×D / GREAT AMBITIOUS -Single Version- on 7th March and this is their 1st double A-side single release since 2012's Overwrite / Nounai Survivor .

Following the release of D×D×D / GREAT AMBITIOUS -Single Version- in March , the members celebrated DAIGO's 40th birthday on 8th April with BREAKERZ LIVE 2018 ~DAIGO's 40th BIRTHDAY~ .
The group's 2nd release of 2018 is BREAKERZ Debut 10th Anniversary Live [BREAKERZ X] COMPLETE BOX that was released on 23rd May .
Solo activities of each member took place in conjunction with band related activities in 2018 until mid July .
In September , BREAKERZ embarked on BREAKERZ Fan Club Live 2018 & this tour was to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the group's fanclub team brz since it 1st established on 1st September 2008 .
Consisting of 5 dates , 2 different concerts took place on each BREAKERZ Fan Club Live 2018 date ie. the 1st concert had an Acoustic Style while the 2nd concert had a Rock Style .
The last time the guys did a fanclub tour was TEAM BREAKERZ VALENTINE LIVE 2012 GO!GO! VALENTINE .
After BREAKERZ Fan Club Live 2018 concluded , solo activities of each member once again continued until the end of 2018 .
BREAKERZ resumes group activities in 2019 , starting with conducting their 1st fanclub BREAKERZ Valentine Cruise ♥ event that took place on 11th Feb .
BREAKERZ Valentine Cruise ♥ is a thank you event to commemorate the 10th anniversary of team brz establishment .
And the group's 1st concert of 2019 BREAKERZ LIVE 2019 ~Heisei Saigo no DAIGO's BIRTHDAY~ was held on 6th April at Tokyo's EX THEATER ROPPONGI , followed by the debut appearance of a new unit D.A.S :
D.A.S is a dance trio . Contrary to what most fans assume , D.A.S name is not based on each of the members' initials . Instead it stands for :
D - Destiny
A - Against
S - Sorrow
In D.A.S , AKIHIDE + DAIGO share joint vocals while SHINPEI rapped with the 2 of them doing dancing co-currently together at the same time .
D.A.S' made their debut appearance in the encore segment of BREAKERZ LIVE 2019 ~Heisei Saigo no DAIGO's BIRTHDAY~ which they performed onstage for 4 minutes .

BREAKERZ's 2nd group concert of 2019 BREAKERZ LIVE 2019 ~Kin Niku Houkai Matsuri SHINPEI's BIRTHDAY~ took place on 11th May ie. on SHINPEI's birthday .
This was followed by BREAKERZ LIVE 2019 ~Kutsurogi no Milky Way AKIHIDE's BIRTHDAY~ that took place on 5th July ie. on AKIHIDE's birthday .
SHINPEI & AKIHIDE's birthday concerts are the 1st 2 concerts the guys performed during the new Reiwa era after the Heisei era concluded on 30th April and both concerts were sold out .
Before the Heisei era concluded on 30th April , BREAKERZ released a new song Atarashii Sekai e Atarashii Jidai e ~Reiwa Version~ digitally between 30th April to 31st May .
First performed during the encore segment of BREAKERZ LIVE 2019 ~Heisei Saigo no DAIGO's BIRTHDAY~ , the digital release of Atarashii Sekai e Atarashii Jidai e ~Reiwa Version~ is the group's 1st digital release in 12 years since WAKE UP MY SOUL / Re:born .
During the encore segments of both BREAKERZ LIVE 2019 ~Kin Niku Houkai Matsuri SHINPEI's BIRTHDAY~ & BREAKERZ LIVE 2019 ~Kutsurogi no Milky Way AKIHIDE's BIRTHDAY~ , a new song was performed in each birthday concert :

In celebration of their 12th anniversary , Shakunetsu no REAL SUMMER PARTY 2019 took place on 28th July at Kanagawa's OTODAMA SEA STUDIO & it was the 1st time for the guys to perform at the venue , let alone do a standalone outdoor concert .
BREAKERZ released their 20th single Yamiyo ni Mau Aoi Tori on 4th Sept . Before the new single release , BREAKERZ presents. [Warming Up Party!] took place on 31st Aug at Tokyo's Shibuya club asia & this concert served as a prelude to their short September live house tour BREAKERZ LIVE TOUR 2019 -Seeking the Blue Bird- .
BREAKERZ presents. [Warming Up Party!] was sold out & unlike the last 3 Warming Up concerts , BREAKERZ performed alongside with First place + Methadone
All the 3 new songs that BREAKERZ performed during the encore segments of each of their birthday concerts ie. Atarashii Sekai e Atarashii Jidai e , BROKEN & Milky Way are included as B-sides in Yamiyo ni Mau Aoi Tori .
Yamiyo ni Mau Aoi Tori 1st week sales is the guys' highest since 2013's RUSTY HEARTS . Not only that , the single's 1st week sales outsold the total sales of what the guys' last 5 singles sold as well .
After BREAKERZ LIVE TOUR 2019 -Seeking the Blue Bird- concluded on 29th Sept , AKIHIDE embarked on his 11th solo tour AKIHIDE “SOLO” LIVE 2019 NAKED MOON2 -Hoshioi no Shoujo- in November .
Compilation album BREAKERZ × Detective Conan COLLABORATION BEST was released on 18th Dec which includes 8 group songs that they've contributed for the Detective Conan anime over the past decade .
Before the physical CD release dropped on 18th Dec , BREAKERZ × Detective Conan COLLABORATION BEST was 1st released digitally on 11th Oct , on the same day when Detective Conan Special Concert 2019 was held at Osaka Jo Hall which was the 1st time the guys performed at the venue .
In addition , solo songs AKIHIDE's RAIN MAN & DAIGO's Ima Aitakute... which were also contributed to be used to promote the Detective Conan anime are also included in BREAKERZ × Detective Conan COLLABORATION BEST but only in the physical CD release .
To celebrate the physical CD release of BREAKERZ × Detective Conan COLLABORATION BEST , BREAKERZ LIVE 2019 ANIME SONG COLLABORATION took place on 29th Dec at Tokyo's Shibuya TSUTAYA O-EAST .
For BREAKERZ LIVE 2019 ANIME SONG COLLABORATION , BREAKERZ performed they've contributed for various animes over the years such as Cardfight !! Vanguard , Detective Conan , Dame Pri ANIME CARAVAN as well as anime cover songs .
Both BREAKERZ × Detective Conan COLLABORATION BEST + BREAKERZ LIVE 2019 ANIME SONG COLLABORATION were the last 2 group related activities conducted prior to the conclusion of 2019 .

Before 2019 concluded , BREAKERZ & other artistes performed at COUNTDOWN JAPAN 19/20 which the music event took place on the last 4 days of 2019 at Chiba's Makuhari Messe .
For BREAKERZ , they performed on 28th Dec at Makuhari Messe International Exhibition Hall 1 - 11 & it was also the only date where COUNTDOWN JAPAN 19/20 took place at the venue while the other 3 COUNTDOWN JAPAN 19/20 dates were held at Makuhari Messe Event Hall .
AKIHIDE kicked off 2020 with the release of his 7th solo album Hoshikai no Shounen on 15th Jan .
This was followed by AKIHIDE's 12th solo tour AKIHIDE LIVE TOUR 2020 -Hoshikai no Shounen- that took place on the last weekend of Jan 2020 & 1st weekend of Feb 2020 and 9 days later , his 1st solo concert of 2020 ie. AKIHIDE MUSIC THEATER -Hoshi no Kaeru Basho- which served as the last chapter for Hoshikai no Shounen , promo wise .
BREAKERZ's 1st group concert of 2020 titled BREAKERZ LIVE 2020 ~Reiwa Saisho no DAIGO's BIRTHDAY~ was originally supposed to take place on 8th April , on the same day as DAIGO's birthday at Tokyo's EX THEATER ROPPONGI once again .
Due to COVID-19 , BREAKERZ LIVE 2020 ~Reiwa Saisho no DAIGO's BIRTHDAY~ was originally rescheduled to take place on 27th July at Zepp Tokyo , 2 days after the band's debut anniversary date .
BREAKERZ LIVE 2020 ~Chou Kin Niku Houkai Matsuri SHINPEI's BIRTHDAY~ originally was supposed to take place on 10th May at Tokyo's Ebisu LIQUIDROOM , the day before SHINPEI's birthday but Being also originally postponed the concert due to COVID-19 .
Both birthday concerts were subsequently cancelled due to COVID-19 & the same thing also unfortunately happened to BREAKERZ LIVE 2020 ~AKIHIDE's BIRTHDAY~ as well .
A LOVE STAGE!! live action movie was originally supposed to get released on 5th June and BREAKERZ is in charge of the movie's theme song which shares the same name as the movie ie. LOVE STAGE .
Not only that , DAIGO made a special appearance as SHOGO in the LOVE STAGE!! live action movie .
Just like BREAKERZ LIVE 2020 ~Reiwa Saisho no DAIGO's BIRTHDAY~ & BREAKERZ LIVE 2020 ~Chou Kin Niku Houkai Matsuri SHINPEI's BIRTHDAY~ , the LOVE STAGE!! live action movie release date in June was postponed .
BREAKERZ contributed a new song BARABARA that was chosen to promote the Youkai Ningen Bela movie which opened in Japan's cinemas on 11th Sept .
Both BARABARA & LOVE STAGE were released together as BREAKERZ's 21st single / double A-side single on 9th Sept .
The LOVE STAGE!! live action movie was eventually opened in Japan's cinemas on 2nd Oct .
BREAKERZ did their 1st online live concert on 26th Sept . BREAKERZ ONLINE LIVE 2020 -ONE NIGHT LOVE STAGE- was the 1st concert they did for 2020 after the cancellation of all 3 members' birthday live concerts without any audience present inside Tokyo's TSUTAYA O-EAST .
AKIHIDE wrapped up 2020 with the release of his 8th solo album LOOP WORLD on 25th Nov , followed by doing his 1st online tour in Nov to Dec and then a Christmas solo concert AKIHIDE SPECIAL LIVE X'mas LOOP WORLD on 19th Dec .
The release of Hoshikai no Shounen & LOOP WORLD marks the 1st time in 7 years since AKIHIDE last released 2 solo albums within the same year .
BREAKERZ kicked off 2021 with the release of their 22nd single I love my daughter that was made available for sale on 10th Feb .
I love my daughter was used to promote ABC TV's drama Miyako ga Kyoto ni Yattekita! which began airing on ABC TV from 10th Jan onwards .
DAIGO wrote & composed I love my daughter for his daughter who was born in September 2020 .
I love my daughter was released on the same week as the fanclub exclusive concert BREAKERZ VALENTINE LIVE 2021 -Bitter & Sweet- that took place on Valentine's Day .
Same with BREAKERZ Fan Club Live 2018 , 2 different concerts took place on the same day when BREAKERZ VALENTINE LIVE 2021 -Bitter & Sweet- was held on Valentine's Day ie. the 1st concert had an Acoustic Style (Sweet side) while the 2nd concert had a Rock Style (Bitter side) .
BREAKERZ's 1st group concert of 2021 titled BREAKERZ LIVE 2021 ~Reiwa Saisho no DAIGO's BIRTHDAY LIVE~ took place on 8th April , on the same day as DAIGO's birthday at Zepp Tokyo .
BREAKERZ LIVE 2021 ~Reiwa Saisho no DAIGO's BIRTHDAY LIVE~ also marked the return of D.A.S which they performed 2 songs (D.A.S & SUMMER BLUE) during the 1st encore of the concert which they debuted SUMMER BLUE for the 1st time .
The 2nd birthday concert of 2021 ie. BREAKERZ LIVE 2021 ~Chou Kin Niku Houkai Acoustic Matsuri SHINPEI's BIRTHDAY~ originally was supposed to take place on 8th May at Tokyo's Ebisu LIQUIDROOM but Being cancelled the concert due to the worsening state of COVID-19 in Japan .
Despite this setback , BREAKERZ LIVE 2021 ~Chou Kin Niku Houkai Acoustic Matsuri SHINPEI's BIRTHDAY~ was turned into BREAKERZ Live Delivery 2021 ~SHINPEI's BIRTHDAY~ ONLINE PARTY , an online streamed concert without any audience present .
BREAKERZ LIVE 2021 ~Shikkoku no Milky Way AKIHIDE’s BIRTHDAY LIVE~ took place on 4th July at Tokyo's EX THEATER ROPPONGI , 1 day before AKIHIDE's birthday and the concert was sold out .
BREAKERZ released their 7th album WITH YOU on 25th Aug & this's their 1st studio album release since 2015's Ø-ZERO- .

In the midst of BREAKERZ FAN CLUB EVENT 2021 -WITH TEAM B.R.Z- & BREAKERZ LIVE TOUR 2021 -WITH YOU- taking place , BREAKERZ performed at TV Asahi DREAM FESTIVAL 2021 for the 1st time .
TV Asahi DREAM FESTIVAL 2021 was held on 23rd , 25th & 26th Sept at Chiba's Makuhari Messe Kokusai Tenjijou Halls 1 to 3 & BREAKERZ performed on 23rd Sept .
AKIHIDE released his 1st solo mini album BLACK UNICORN EP on 17th Nov & a short tour AKIHIDE LIVE TOUR 2021 -BLACK UNICORN- commenced on the same date as the mini album release & on 20th + 21st Nov .
Unlike AKIHIDE's past solo releases , BLACK UNICORN EP could only be purchased via Musing & also in the AKIHIDE LIVE TOUR 2021 -BLACK UNICORN- concert venue/s .
BREAKERZ concluded 2021 with BREAKERZ X’mas Show 2021 . The concert took place on 17th Dec at Blue Note Tokyo .
BREAKERZ X’mas Show 2021 was their 1st time performing in Blue Note Tokyo 2 times on the same day and both sessions of the concert were sold out .
BREAKERZ kicked 2022 with the release of their 23rd single SWEET MOONLIGHT & this was used as the 65th ending theme no. for the Detective Conan anime , their 1st single to promote the anime once again since 2017's Yume Monogatari .
SWEET MOONLIGHT is marketed as the group's 1st 15th anniversary release .
BREAKERZ's 1st concert of 2022 BREAKERZ VALENTINE LIVE 2022 -BREAKERZ VS D.A.S- took place on 12th Feb at Tokyo's Otemachi Mitsui Hall and this concert saw BREAKERZ battled it out against D.A.S onstage , making this D.A.S' 3rd overall performance appearance after they made brief appearances on DAIGO's 2019 & 2021 birthday concerts .
Misawa Homes sponsored the sold out BREAKERZ VALENTINE LIVE 2022 -BREAKERZ VS D.A.S- concert , the same company that sponsored 2016's SPECIAL LIVE 『BREAKERZ IX』.
Season 1 of AKIHIDE's 14th solo tour AKIHIDE「Angya Anata no Machi e...」happened in April to May .
BREAKERZ BIRTHDAY PARTY 2022 took place on 3 separate dates in the next few months , before BREAKERZ XV -Crystal- .
Format wise , BREAKERZ BIRTHDAY PARTY 2022 was almost similar to BREAKERZ X'mas Show 2021 ie. 2 performances were held on the same day & at a Premium Night Show setting .
In this case , all 3 BREAKERZ BIRTHDAY PARTY 2022 dates took place at Tokyo's Marunouchi Live Restaurant COTTON CLUB & it was the 1st time the guys performed at the venue .
BREAKERZ BEST -SINGLEZ- was released on 15th June & this is marketed as the guys' 15th anniversary album release & in keeping with 'tradition' , instead of spelling the word Single as so , Z is incorporated to coincide with the last alphabet of the band's name .
BREAKERZ XV -Crystal- took place on 23rd July at Tokyo's LINE CUBE SHIBUYA , 2 days before the group's debut anniversary date .
Not only BREAKERZ XV -Crystal- was sponsored by LIVE DAM Ai , the concert was also sold out .
LINE CUBE SHIBUYA is a new old venue for the guys to perform in that they used to perform there a long time ago during BREAKERZ LIVE TOUR 2009 GRAND FINALE ~Seishun Days~ where the venue used to be known as C.C. Lemon Hall .
BREAKERZ performed a new song LIKE A CRYSTAL for the very 1st time during the encore segment of BREAKERZ XV -Crystal- .
Written & composed by DAIGO , LIKE A CRYSTAL is marketed as the guys' 15th anniversary song & not only that , fans who attended BREAKERZ XV -Crystal- were allowed to purchase the CD after the concert finished .
LIKE A CRYSTAL also shares the same name as the guys' BREAKERZ LIVE TOUR 2022 -LIKE A CRYSTAL- that took place in the entire month of September .
After BREAKERZ LIVE TOUR 2022 -LIKE A CRYSTAL- concluded , AKIHIDE embarked on 2 back to back solo tours with 2 different formats in October & November .

BREAKERZ wrapped up 2022 by doing
- Fanclub exclusive BREAKERZ Warming Up Live 2022 that took place on 2nd Dec at Tokyo's Machida The Play House (concert was sold out)
- a 2 man live ROCK BONDZ -WANDS × BREAKERZ- that took place on 6th & 13th Dec at Tokyo's Zepp Haneda and Zepp Osaka Bayside
- BREAKERZ X’mas Show 2022 that took place on 22nd Dec at Tokyo's Marunouchi Live Restaurant COTTON CLUB (both performances on the same day were sold out)
December also included the video release of BREAKERZ XV -Crystal- on 7th Dec & this's the guys' 1st concert to solely get a Blu-ray video release .
BREAKERZ kicked off 2023 with a 15th anniversary special fanclub event titled BREAKERZ to Ichigo Kara on 15th Jan .
BREAKERZ to Ichigo Kara is a strawberry hunting event that the guys did together with fanclub members & it's a pun on the number 15 as in Japanese context , 15 sounds like Ichigo .

Also this was the 1st time the guys performed at Tokyo's Shibuya Stream Hall .
Before TEAM BREAKERZ 15th ANNIVERSARY SPECIAL EVENT & SPECIAL LIVE began on 9th Sept at Aichi's ElectricLadyLand , fanclub exclusive BREAKERZ Warming Up Live 2023 took place 2 days prior at Tokyo's Meguro THE LIVE STATION .

TEAM BREAKERZ 15 Shunen Arigatou Kikaku Grand Finale ~BREAKERZ to Onsen Buraritabi 2024 in Kamogawa~ is to celebrate a belated 15 years since the guys set up their fanclub on 1st Sept 2008 .
The 2024 fanclub trip has significance to BREAKERZ as their very 1st fanclub trip was held in 2009 at Kamogawa itself & this was held at Mikazuki Sea Park Hotel Awa Kamogawa .
Also , BREAKERZ BIRTHDAY PARTY 2024 took place in each of the member's actual birthday dates ie. 8th April , 11th May & 5th July .

Announced during TEAM BREAKERZ 15 Shunen Arigatou Kikaku Grand Finale ~BREAKERZ to Onsen Buraritabi 2024 in Kamogawa~ , BREAKERZ released their 8th studio album on 24th July , 1 day before the group's debut anniversary date .
It was subsequently announced during the 2nd BREAKERZ BIRTHDAY PARTY 2024 that the 8th studio album is titled Bintage (pronounced as Vintage) & a tour BREAKERZ LIVE TOUR 2024 -Bintage- took place from the last day of August until late September to support Bintage .
Before BREAKERZ LIVE TOUR 2024 -Bintage- began on 31st Aug at Kanagawa's Shin-Yokohama NEW SIDE BEACH!! , fanclub exclusive BREAKERZ Warming Up Live 2024 took place 2 days prior at Tokyo's Meguro Rockmaykan & the concert was sold out .

Band
Formed in April 2007 , BREAKERZ is a J-rock trio that is made up of 3 guys : frontman vocalist DAIGO & guitarists AKIHIDE and SHINPEI .
BREAKERZ started off as DAIGO and SHINPEI's project . Meeting through a mutual friend and various recording sessions , they worked together to make a demo . DAIGO is in charge of music and lyrics while SHINPEI is in charge of arrangements .
In the span of 1 month , they created 40 songs . Later on , they are joined by DAIGO's longtime friend who has worked many times with him in his band , songwriting , playing guitar and singing chorus . That is AKIHIDE & the 3 of them joined together to form BREAKERZ .
The origins of BREAKERZ's name means "wanting to destroy" or "destroying once & for all" & connects breaking through genres & barriers . The original band's name was first spelled with an S but it was later changed to Z adopting the letter from B'z , which SHINPEI's a massive big fan of the duo .
Incidentally , the band's name was derived even before SHINPEI joined .
BREAKERZ's goal was to be like the musicians that they admire/respect such as hyde & Himuro Kyosuke .
All arrangements are credited under BREAKERZ as so but it is the composer of the song who leads the arrangement , while the rest of the members fine tune the song while utilising their own ideas .
Their music can't be described in just one word . It's a fusion mix of AKIHIDE's UK rock guitar sounds & SHINPEI's American rock guitar sounds which're both combined with DAIGO's somewhat sexy lush seductive voice .
Despite having 2 guitarists in the group , AKIHIDE & SHINPEI have distinct display of flair with their guitar/s while onstage . The trio made their major debut with their self-titled debut album on July 25th 2007 . Their first live performance took place at SHIBUYA BOXX on August 5th 2007 . During live performances , the guys often wear prayer bead bracelets which were made by DAIGO's late maternal grandma .
BREAKERZ doesn't have a permanent bassist nor a drummer in their duty roaster , so they use various support members when comes to recording of their material & also in live performances too .
In Spring 2013 , BREAKERZ went on hiatus in which each member pursued solo activities and after their 1st countdown live BREAKERZ COUNTDOWN LIVE 2014-2015 concluded , BREAKERZ announced that they were making a full comeback and restarted their band related activities in mid 2015 with the release of a new single , a new album & a new live tour which they dubbed it as the trilogy comeback .
BREAKERZ celebrated their 10th anniversary in 2017 with the release of Ikusen no Meikyuu de Ikusen no Nazo wo Toite in January followed by BREAKERZ 10 Shunen 10ban Shoubu -VS- which consists of them doing 10 concerts with 10 different artistes .
In July 2017 , BREAKERZ released their 18th single Yume Monogatari on 12th July . Before a duo back to back concert BREAKERZ Debut 10th Anniversary 【BREAKERZ X】 MEMORY & PROMISE that took place on 15th and 16th July respectively , BREAKERZ Debut 10th Anniversary Live 【BREAKERZ X】 Warming Up Vol.2 took place on 6th July which's 1 day after AKIHIDE's birthday .
In Oct 2017 , BREAKERZ released a 10th anniversary special album X (pronounces as Cross) on 18th Oct . X has 2 CDs , the 1st CD is titled 10th anniversary special collaboration album that includes 10 songs which BREAKERZ sang a different track during each of the 10 BREAKERZ 10 Shunen 10ban Shoubu -VS- concerts while the 2nd CD titled Request best includes 15 songs that fans selected/voted online as part of Fans' Select Best (in which each fan was able to vote a maximum of 3 songs to be included in X) .
In Nov & Dec 2017 , BREAKERZ LIVE TOUR 2017 【X-cross-】 commenced .
BREAKERZ starts off 2018 with the release of their 19th single D×D×D / GREAT AMBITIOUS -Single Version- on 7th March and this is their 1st double A-side single release since 2012's Overwrite / Nounai Survivor .

Following the release of D×D×D / GREAT AMBITIOUS -Single Version- in March , the members celebrated DAIGO's 40th birthday on 8th April with BREAKERZ LIVE 2018 ~DAIGO's 40th BIRTHDAY~ .
The group's 2nd release of 2018 is BREAKERZ Debut 10th Anniversary Live [BREAKERZ X] COMPLETE BOX that was released on 23rd May .
Solo activities of each member took place in conjunction with band related activities in 2018 until mid July .
In September , BREAKERZ embarked on BREAKERZ Fan Club Live 2018 & this tour was to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the group's fanclub team brz since it 1st established on 1st September 2008 .
Consisting of 5 dates , 2 different concerts took place on each BREAKERZ Fan Club Live 2018 date ie. the 1st concert had an Acoustic Style while the 2nd concert had a Rock Style .
The last time the guys did a fanclub tour was TEAM BREAKERZ VALENTINE LIVE 2012 GO!GO! VALENTINE .
After BREAKERZ Fan Club Live 2018 concluded , solo activities of each member once again continued until the end of 2018 .
BREAKERZ resumes group activities in 2019 , starting with conducting their 1st fanclub BREAKERZ Valentine Cruise ♥ event that took place on 11th Feb .
BREAKERZ Valentine Cruise ♥ is a thank you event to commemorate the 10th anniversary of team brz establishment .
And the group's 1st concert of 2019 BREAKERZ LIVE 2019 ~Heisei Saigo no DAIGO's BIRTHDAY~ was held on 6th April at Tokyo's EX THEATER ROPPONGI , followed by the debut appearance of a new unit D.A.S :
D.A.S is a dance trio . Contrary to what most fans assume , D.A.S name is not based on each of the members' initials . Instead it stands for :

In D.A.S , AKIHIDE + DAIGO share joint vocals while SHINPEI rapped with the 2 of them doing dancing co-currently together at the same time .

AKIHIDE kicked off 2020 with the release of his 7th solo album Hoshikai no Shounen on 15th Jan .

AKIHIDE released his 1st solo mini album BLACK UNICORN EP on 17th Nov & a short tour AKIHIDE LIVE TOUR 2021 -BLACK UNICORN- commenced on the same date as the mini album release & on 20th + 21st Nov .
Unlike AKIHIDE's past solo releases , BLACK UNICORN EP could only be purchased via Musing & also in the AKIHIDE LIVE TOUR 2021 -BLACK UNICORN- concert venue/s .
BREAKERZ concluded 2021 with BREAKERZ X’mas Show 2021 . The concert took place on 17th Dec at Blue Note Tokyo .
BREAKERZ X’mas Show 2021 was their 1st time performing in Blue Note Tokyo 2 times on the same day and both sessions of the concert were sold out .

Before TEAM BREAKERZ 15th ANNIVERSARY SPECIAL EVENT & SPECIAL LIVE began on 9th Sept at Aichi's ElectricLadyLand , fanclub exclusive BREAKERZ Warming Up Live 2023 took place 2 days prior at Tokyo's Meguro THE LIVE STATION .
BREAKERZ wrapped up 2023 by holding BREAKERZ X’mas Show 2023 .
This time round unlike the previous years , BREAKERZ X’mas Show 2023 had 2 dates with each date having a different yet specific set of songs the guys did .

2 performance sessions were held for each day & only the 2nd performance session for CRASH & BUILD NIGHT was sold out .

BREAKERZ kicked off 2024 with a 15th anniversary special fanclub trip titled TEAM BREAKERZ 15 Shunen Arigatou Kikaku Grand Finale ~BREAKERZ to Onsen Buraritabi 2024 in Kamogawa~ .
TEAM BREAKERZ 15 Shunen Arigatou Kikaku Grand Finale ~BREAKERZ to Onsen Buraritabi 2024 in Kamogawa~ is to celebrate a belated 15 years since the guys set up their fanclub on 1st Sept 2008 .
The 2024 fanclub trip has significance to BREAKERZ as their very 1st fanclub trip was held in 2009 at Kamogawa itself & this was held at Mikazuki Sea Park Hotel Awa Kamogawa .
Also , BREAKERZ BIRTHDAY PARTY 2024 took place in each of the member's actual birthday dates ie. 8th April , 11th May & 5th July .
Not only each of the 3 BREAKERZ BIRTHDAY PARTY 2024 dates once again took place at Tokyo's Marunouchi Live Restaurant COTTON CLUB , each of the member personally produced his own birthday concert .
Announced during TEAM BREAKERZ 15 Shunen Arigatou Kikaku Grand Finale ~BREAKERZ to Onsen Buraritabi 2024 in Kamogawa~ , BREAKERZ released their 8th studio album on 24th July , 1 day before the group's debut anniversary date .
It was subsequently announced during the 2nd BREAKERZ BIRTHDAY PARTY 2024 that the 8th studio album is titled Bintage (pronounced as Vintage) & a tour BREAKERZ LIVE TOUR 2024 -Bintage- took place from the last day of August until late September to support Bintage .
Before BREAKERZ LIVE TOUR 2024 -Bintage- began on 31st Aug at Kanagawa's Shin-Yokohama NEW SIDE BEACH!! , fanclub exclusive BREAKERZ Warming Up Live 2024 took place 2 days prior at Tokyo's Meguro Rockmaykan & the concert was sold out .
BREAKERZ kicked off 2025 with BREAKERZ BIRTHDAY PARTY 2025 . BREAKERZ BIRTHDAY PARTY 2025 will take place in each of the member's actual birthday dates except for SHINPEI ie. 8th April , 10th May & 5th July .
Not only each of the 3 BREAKERZ BIRTHDAY PARTY 2025 dates will once again take place at Tokyo's Marunouchi Live Restaurant COTTON CLUB , each of the member will personally produced his own birthday concert good .
Announced during BREAKERZ BIRTHDAY PARTY 2025 that took place on DAIGO's birthday , BREAKERZ 18th Anniversary Live R-18 will take place on 21st July at Tokyo's Shinagawa Intercity Hall , 4 days before the group's debut anniversary date .
After BREAKERZ 18th Anniversary Live R-18 , a new domestic tour BREAKERZ LIVE TOUR 2025 RETURNZ -Ao no Mirai EP × BIG BANG!- will take place in September which songs from the group's 1st mini album & 3rd studio album will be revisited .
